Say Hello to Cello!
Camp Information
Who?
Cello students - ages 6 and up - who are able to read music, and have (preferably) played the cello for more than one year.
Please note: while all school-aged students are welcome, please take into consideration your child’s ability to focus for extended periods of time, as well as their overall cello-playing level. Every effort will be made to accommodate students of all ability levels, but some students (especially new beginners or those who have played for less than one year) may feel left behind if they’re not able to perform the assigned music in the short time that is allotted.
When and Where?
The camp will be held for one week in June 2022. Lunch will be served from noon-1 PM daily, and is included in the tuition.
The final performance will take place on Friday afternoon of the camp week.
Both the camp and final performance will be held in the well-equipped music rooms at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, GA.
How Much?
The cost of the camp is $350 per student and includes daily lunch, camp t-shirt, all required music, and group instruction. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required for all students at the time of registration. Students who register prior to April 1, 2022 receive a $50 discount on the camp tuition.
Students who wish to schedule 30-minute private lessons with Ms. Ballard, Dr. Dougherty, or Mr. Hood can do so at an additional, discounted rate.
